The Archived Auctions remain
on the hard disk and easily can be accessed at any time. In
this new archival you can run any SOLD II®
program including Cashiering, Clerking, and all reports.
Just about anything you might do from the menu with a live SOLD
II® auction, you can also do in the new archival
module. Using this new module, you can archive multiple
auctions in a single step, making any catching up you
have to do, far easier. For example, you could group all of your
auctions within a given date range or of a given type into one
grouping or set (up to 10 per grouping). This level of
organization will make it far easier to find the right auction
later. In addition, you can walk your auction archival groups
with a display of all the auctions within each group as you do
so.
Were you afraid to close your
auctions in the past? Now you can have full retrieval of
data from closed past auctions (including making changes if
necessary). Now you can update your auction sales history (used
by SOLD II® Contact Management, History Module,
and many management reports) by closing your auctions in a
timely fashion without fear of losing easy access to the auction
data.
You're not taking full
advantage of the power of the SOLD II® auction
management system if you're not closing your auctions. If
concerns about purging this auction data from your live SOLD II®
system has been stopping you, then you will want the new SOLD
II® Archive Module.
