Rod Settles first became a SOLD II Auctioneer in 1995. At that time he sold mainly antiques in Tennessee. Although successful Rod kept searching for that special niche that would set his business apart.
Ask many auctioneers what their business plan is and where they expect to be in 5 or 10 years, and their vision of the future may be quite different than the realities of their current business. Rod's business went through many changes while enduring the many difficulties common to the launching of most businesses. Rod persevered to follow his plan until creating the unique and highly successful niche business he has today.
Today Rod operates Nashville PowerSport Auction. Vintage cars, motorcycles, jet skis, ATV's, boats, trailers, motor homes are the normal items for sale in the regular auctions. Marketing these products in the Nashville area has produced rapid growth. He recently had to move to a larger facility!
SOLD II has been with Rod all the way. The flexibility to change with his business is built in!
